Dr François Bothma was consecrated as Presiding Bishop of the Home Temple Group and serves as Grailmaster of the Temple of the Holy Grail (T:.H:.G:.), where he is dedicated to preserving and transmitting the authentic initiatic traditions of the Western Mysteries through spiritual formation, contemplative practice, and disciplined initiatic training.
His spiritual journey has been one of profound transformation, rooted in a lifelong commitment to both healing and the inner life. With more than three decades of experience in healthcare, together with extensive study in Jewish Mysticism, Hermetic philosophy, Christian Esotericism, and the perennial wisdom of the Mystery Schools, Dr Bothma brings together the disciplines of healing and spirituality into a unified path of personal and spiritual development.
Drawing upon the historical teachings of Mar Yeshua, the Home Temple tradition, and the timeless principles of the Western Mysteries, he guides students towards deeper self-knowledge, inner transformation, and conscious union with the Divine. His teaching emphasises that true initiation is not simply the acquisition of esoteric knowledge, but the gradual refinement of character, the cultivation of wisdom, and the embodiment of Divine Presence through daily life.
As a teacher, mentor, and bishop, Dr Bothma provides spiritual guidance through lectures, retreats, workshops, and individual mentorship. His work integrates contemplative practice, sacred symbolism, energy healing, Qabalistic philosophy, and the transformative principles of the Mystery Tradition, enabling students to develop both spiritually and practically within an authentic initiatic framework.
